Home Cookie information
Cookies are small (<1Kb) files which your browser stores on your hard disk or in memory, when requested to do so by a web page. The web page may retrieve the cookie when it is refreshed, so it can identify you, for example, as someone who has placed an item in your online shopping basket. Computer users have complete control over cookies, in that they may ask their browser to tell them what cookies are stored, and they may refuse or delete cookies.
The cookies used on this website are
Names: __utma, __utmb, __utmc, __utmz
Function: Identifying unique visitors, visitor sessions, and visitor navigation
Description: Each unique browser that visits a page on your site is provided with a unique ID via the __utma cookie. In this way, subsequent visits to your website via the same browser are recorded as belonging to the same (unique) visitor. This is for the recording of visitor statistics used in the Google Analytics Package.
Function: Login Management
Description: This cookie is used to keep you logged in after you have logged in to the site.
Function: Information about which server is providing content to the user
Description: The X-Mapping cookie is sent by the server to keep the user’s browser sessions intact as we load balance and use a clustered array of servers. If a user reloads a page they could be served the content from another server entirely but this cookie tracks the user to the same server.
In compliance with EU Legislation we have decided to employ a 'cookie bar' on our website to tell you about the cookies we use.
The cookie bar disappears when you click to 'accept cookies'. When you do this, the website stores an additional cookie, called 'removecookiebar' to remember not to display the bar again. If you would like to see the bar again you can use another computer or tell your browser to use "incognito mode" or "private browsing".
